MURALS and WHOLE-ROOM ENVIRONMENTS
PROCESS: Once the artist personally consults with you to imagine the possibilities, the next step is to discuss and finalize the design elements. After the concept is identified, an itemized estimate will be provided based on complexity and content ( see pricing). Heidi Danielle Bashoor will then research each element and develop a design sketch. The sketch is essential to clarify what has been discussed. Many hours of thought and study are put into each feature to ensure the possibilities discussed are explored and exemplified in the best way. It is here that the elements of perspective, color, composition and subject are identified. The sketch fee for murals starts at $400.00. The sketch fee is deducted from the total cost of the mural upon your commission.
PRICING:
For small budgets Heidi can produce a delightful mural for you on a small to medium scale with simple detail
( minimum charge is 600). This charge could include a small background, such as a 3 square foot mural featuring a small animal. An even less expensive option is the purchase of small repostitionable canvas reproductions of some of Heidi’s work (prices vary).
For higher budgets you can expect more attention to detail with more complexities in the design and composition, more characters, greater care in the artwork overall or lower detail work over very large areas. Also Heidi can spend more time 'tweaking' the image, to create a more finely tuned piece of artwork.
For high budgets Creation Creations can produce a true masterpiece done to perfection! Painted with a trompe l'oeil (so real it fools the eye) effect. This is the best showcase that her work can achieve.
FINISHES PROCEDURE: After meeting to discuss design and colors, custom samples will be made. Samples for finishes are $150.00 which includes 3 samples. The price of samples will be deducted from the contract price.
PRICING: Faux finishes are an economic way to dramatically re-decorate. With this type of art in a very small amount of time the entire space it transformed. Finishes are based on complexity of method and color, and price of product. The minimum price is $600. (This might pay be for a small powder room or a single wall.)

Advantages: Decorative painting can create a mood and ambience, custom matching existing design themes and colors. Finishes may be applied to almost any surface without preparation. They last longer than wallpaper and will not peel off under adverse conditions such as high humidity. Faux finishes will not harbor bacteria, mould and insects beneath the surface. They are durable and can be sealed for areas which require scrubbing. They can hide surface imperfections.
